Configuring General Layout Options

#From the Administration page, click Look & Feel Look and Feel.
+
TipTip:
You can also access the Look & Feel page by typing http://www.yourdomain.com/tiki-admin.php?page=look in your web browser.
  1. The Administration: Look & Feel page appears.
    Administration: Look and Feel.
The Administration: Look and Feel page lists the Tiki layout options.
  2. On the Theme tab, use the Theme to select the theme (or "skin") for your Tiki.
    NoteNote:
Some themes, such as Strasa, include additional theme options that you can configure.
  3. Click Apply to change your site Theme.
  4. Click the General Layout tab.
    Administration: Look and Feel.
The General Layout tab lists the Tiki layout options.
  5. Here you can:
    • Add content in the Custom Site Header area.
    • Add your own logo and site name in the Site Logo and Title area.
    • Enable (or disable) the Site Search Bar and Login Bar.
    • Enable (or disable) the Left and Right columns.
    • Enable (or disable) the Top and Bottom bars.
    • Enable (or disable) the icons and debugging information in the Bottom bar.
      NoteNote:
The "debug" bar displays information about your Tiki's performance, such as the amount of time it takes to load a page or the number of database queries that were issued. While this information may be useful (and interesting), it is not especially helpful to a new visitor.
  6. Click Change preferences. Tiki saves the information and reloads the page.
Later, you will use the other Look & Feel options to further customize your Tiki.
