Creating a Site Menu Bar

Instead of placing the Main Menu in a module in the left column), you may prefer to place the menu at the top of the page. Tiki's Site Menu Bar feature makes it easy!
NoteNote:
The Site Menu Bar requires Tiki's PHP Layers feature. Make sure that you have enabled the feature.

#From the Administration page, click Look & Feel Look and Feel icon..

You can also access the Administration: Look and Feel page by typing http://www.yourdomain.com/tiki-admin.php?page=look in your web browser.


  1. Click the General Layout Options tab.

  2. In the Top Bar area, enable the following features:
    • Top Bar: The site menu bar will be included inside the Top Bar. The Top Bar must be turned on.
    • Menu ID: Enter the ID of the Main Menu that you created earlier.
  3. Click Apply.
Tiki now displays your custom Main Menu at the top of the page. The sub-options are available as drop-down options.
